Senior HubSpot Consultant

About the role

Origin 63 seeks a Sr. HubSpot Consultant whose core focus is working with clients to optimize their HubSpot Marketing, Service and Sales Hub experiences (Starter, Pro and Enterprise). This person will be a self-confessed HubSpot nerd, and want to learn even more about the tool while helping to shape the culture of a fast growing company. They will also have a strong background working with sales teams in HubSpot.

The Sr. HubSpot Consultant will spearhead all HubSpot strategy and training needs for Origin 63 clients and oversee a team of HubSpot Consultants, supporting them with their own portfolio of clients. 

 

Skills:

  • Deep knowledge of HubSpot & proven work experience (4+ years) utilizing HubSpot marketing and sales tools

  • Experience with HubSpot migrations and integrations is strongly desired

  • Excellent presentation & training skills

Responsibilities 



HubSpot Strategy for Client Portfolio:

  • Create strategies based on pain points and upcoming initiatives to best support client needs. Work with Account managers to implement the initiative & timing of initiatives.
  • Enable clients to use HubSpot in creative ways, harnessing technology features in innovative ways to solve complex challenges
  • Act as the expert to lead client teams into the right processes using HubSpot tools
  • Liaison between the client team and our developers to translate client requirements and needs into technical specifications for integrations or custom coded actions
  • Lead conversations around data architecture and develop the mapping deliverables that development needs for migrations via API
  • Complete discovery calls with clients to understand business objectives, pain points, and successes of their current marketing automation & CRM tools.
  • Review and/or complete HubSpot account audits for clients new to Origin 63.
  • Compile and present recommendations to clients.
  • Lead training with clients’ marketing, service and sales teams on how to use HubSpot tools and explain the feature sets as they relate to their goals and operational activities.
  • Understand client needs for reporting and provide direction to HubSpot technicians to set up custom reporting.
  • Understand differences of tools in the HubSpot suite and ensure recommendations are in alignment with what the client is currently utilizing.

Client Retention & Business Support:

  • For project-based clients, identify long-term needs & recommend a package for Origin 63 support and service, as warranted.
  • Help to shape the Origin 63 programs and contribute to sales conversations, as needed.
  • Architect and explain to clients new opportunities to utilize the HubSpot platform beyond their current usage, including but not limited to Hub upgrades or add-ons, and new projects above their current scope.
  • Work with Integrations Engineer to develop migration and integration plans for existing and new clients.

 

Team Mentorship:

  • Provide management to a team of up to 2 HubSpot Consultants, overseeing their success and growth.
  • Conduct team onboarding training for new HubSpot Consultants.
  • Mentor Consultants on client HubSpot strategies to ensure a successful project or solution.
  • Challenge Consultants to find smarter and better ways to accomplish goals within the HubSpot ecosystem.
  • Proactively share learnings and discoveries with the Strategy team and encourage others to share.

Requirements


  • Proven work experience (7-10 years) in a client-facing role, with at least 3 years of managing direct reports.
  • At least 5 years of HubSpot-related experience.
  • Exemplify our core values.
  • Thrive in a collaborative yet mobile working environment.

  • Excellent listening, communication, and presentation skills.
  • BA/BS in communications, marketing, or similar field.
  • HubSpot certifications in sales and marketing tools are required. If you do not have these certifications but are otherwise qualified, you may seek certifications within the first 90 days of employment.
